Walk into China -- Lost in translation

Lost in translation

“一(yí)次(cì)性(xìng)用(yòng)品(pǐn)“, means “disposable item”. Look how it turns out on a sign in a Chinese supermarket.

Note:
一(yí)次(cì)=one time
性(xìng)=sex, or of kind
用(yòng)品(pǐn)=thing
一(yí)次(cì)性(xìng)=disposable, and here “性”means to be categorized, of kind.
