Chinese Proverbs -- 眼大肚子小
眼大肚子小(yǎn dà dù zi xiǎo) The eye is bigger than the belly.
Notes:
眼yǎn = eye 肚子dù zi = stomach 大dà = big 小xiǎo = small
Example:
学(xué)中(zhōng)文(wén)要(yào)慢(màn)慢(màn)来(lái)，不(bú)要(yào)眼(yǎn)大(dà)肚(dù)子(zi)小(xiǎo)。 It is better to take baby step when you learn Mandarin.
