Traditional Chinese Cusine -- 佛跳墙

Buddha jumps over the wall – 佛跳墙 fó tiào qiáng
Buddha jumps over the wall is a famous Fujian Cuisine  It was created in Qing Dynasty by a chef named Zheng, Chunfa. The dish has been regarded as a Chinese delicacy known for its rich taste, usage of various high-quality ingredients and special manner of cooking. There was a saying that a monk was traveling to Shaolin Temple. When he passed near the restaurant ran by Zheng, Chunfa, he was attracted by the smells and jumped over the wall to taste the dish.
