Chinese POP Culture - 我再也不相信爱情了

wǒ zài yě bù xiāng xìn ài qíng le

Meaning: I don’t believe in love any more.

A sentence that is popular among Chinese young people. It is hard to find where this sentence came from, but it is commonly used to describe things that is out of your expectation or some shocking news.
For example:

Cāng tiān ā    dà dì ā, fú róng jiě jiě dōu jiǎn dào 85 jīn le!
苍      天   啊,大  地 啊,芙 蓉   姐  姐  都   减   到   85  斤 了!
wǒ zài yě bù xiāng xìn ài qíng le
我   再  也  不  相     信  爱  情  了

Oh my god, Furong Jiejie(a commonly known fat woman in China) has her weight dropped to almost 90lbs. I shall never believe in love any more.

The things or news doesn't necessarily have to relate to “love”, people use this phrase to express their disappointment about life and things happening in the world.
