乐(lè)活(huó)
This word is the Chinese translation of LOHAS, Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability. It is a demographic defining a particular market segment related to sustainable living, "green" ecological initiatives, and generally composed of a relatively upscale and well-educated population segment. This term is quickly growing in recognition, just as it is growing as a demographic. As society becomes more aware of the global issues we face and the potential consequences, people are becoming more determined to reduce their carbon footprint. In Chinese,乐(lè)活(huó) is more often used referring a healthy, ecological and better lifestyle. There is no limit to how much you can do to live LOHAS life, such as exercise, eat well, take time to reconnect with nature, recycle, etc. Embracing a little LOHAS in your daily life will make you feel great, support the planet and lead a fuller life. Start small and it's amazing how quickly you'll start feeling fantastic.
